TPU — Thermoplastic Polyurethane
TPU is a flexible, rubber-like thermoplastic with excellent abrasion resistance and elasticity. It is available in a wide range of hardnesses (Shore A 60 to Shore D 75) for applications from phone cases to industrial seals. TPU requires a direct-drive extruder and slow print speeds to avoid buckling in the filament path, and it bonds well between layers for strong, flexible parts.
