PVA is a water-soluble support material used in dual-extrusion 3D printing alongside PLA or other materials. It dissolves completely in warm water, leaving clean surfaces on overhangs and internal cavities that would be impossible to reach with breakaway supports. PVA is hygroscopic and must be stored in dry conditions; it is not used for structural parts.
